ALS Arabia Minerals operations are based in the Western Province of Saudi Arabia servicing the rapidly growing mining industry. The testing within this division is volume driven – large numbers of exploration and/or mine grade control samples are analyzed for precious metals, phosphate, bauxite, and base metals using techniques such as FIRE ASSAY, FUSION, FLAME-AAS, ICP-AES, and XRF.
ALS Arabia is part of the globally coordinated laboratory control system of ALS Minerals and ensures that ALS Minerals’ work standards are followed and tracked at every step from initial log-in of sample submittals, through the all-important sample preparation stages and right through to analytical determination.
Analytical procedures appropriate for all “elements of interest” are tailored to meet the needs of exploration geologists, miners, mineral process engineers and metallurgists who might be engaged in exploration, mine grade control, concentrate and bullion determinations, acid-base accounting as well as process plant control. Our standard range of analytical methods covers all commodities from precious metals to iron ore and industrial minerals. These methods include those used for lithogeochemistry, trace and indicator element analysis, ore grade determination, isotope determinations, hydrogeochemistry, biogeochemistry and selective leach geochemistry.
